Why I Love Teaching Bachelorette Party Yoga in Austin
I’ll say it up front: I’m a girls’ girl, and teaching bachelorette party yoga in Austin is one of my favorite things I get to do as a yoga teacher.
Austin is one of the most popular bachelorette destinations in the country, and the energy these groups bring to the city is unmatched. There’s the matching outfits, the Rainey Street and 6th Street plans, the pool floats, the inside jokes, and the playlist someone spent weeks building. Walking into a rental full of women who love each other and are there to celebrate one of their own is honestly the best way to start a morning.

Why bachelorette groups are my favorite to teach
A bachelorette weekend is a big deal. Friends fly in from different cities, some of them meeting for the first time, and everyone is there for the same person. Yoga turns out to be a really sweet way to bring that group together.
- It connects the whole crew. A private yoga class gives everyone a shared experience that isn’t a bar or a brunch line. By the end of savasana, the college roommates and the work friends feel like one group.
- It’s the perfect reset. After a big night out in Austin, a slow flow and some deep breathing is exactly what the body is asking for. Your group gets to move, stretch, laugh, and feel human again before the next plan.
- It’s all about the bride. I love building little moments into class that center the bride-to-be, whether that’s a dedication at the start, an intention the group sets for her, or a quiet moment of gratitude at the end.
- The energy is so good. Bachelorette groups come in giggly and excited, and they leave calm, glowing, and closer. Getting to hold space for that shift is my favorite part.
Why I’m the right Austin bachelorette yoga teacher for your group
I’ve practiced yoga since 2010 and I’m a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher. But what really makes my private group yoga work for bachelorettes is how I set it up:
- I come to you. I travel to your Airbnb, vacation rental, home, or event space in the Austin area, so nobody has to find a studio or call a car the morning after.
- Everything is included. I bring yoga mats, props, and music. Your group just shows up as they are. An optional sound bath is available if you want to end on something extra dreamy.
- Truly beginner-friendly. Most bachelorette groups are a mix of people who practice every week and people who have never done yoga in their lives. My classes are built so every single person can join in, with easy options and up-level choices for anyone who wants more.
- Your style, your vibe. Want an energizing power or vinyasa flow before a day on Lake Travis? A slow hatha or yin class to recover? A restorative class with a sound bath to wind down? I’ll match the class to your group’s energy.
- Inclusive and hands-off. I’m trauma-informed and teach completely hands-off, so everyone gets to feel comfortable in their own body and their own space. Every body is welcome.
- Easy to book. My private group yoga is bookable on Airbnb, so the planner of the group (thank you, maid of honor!) can lock it in alongside the rest of the itinerary.
What bachelorette groups are saying
My private group yoga has a 5.0 rating from 19 reviews on Airbnb, every one of them five stars. Here’s what a few recent bachelorette and girls’ weekend groups had to say:
We absolutely loved our session with Taylor! We booked a private yoga session at our stay for a bachelorette trip, and Taylor was so wonderful. She reached out beforehand with thoughtful questions about what kind of flow we wanted, any music requests, etc. On the day of, she made everything so easy by handling all of the setup and cleanup. We realized she even moved furniture back in place for us, which was so sweet! We had a range of people in our group, from beginners to more advanced, and everyone loved the class. I highly recommend!
Taylor was a fantastic yoga instructor for our bachlorette group. She made everyone feel comfortable & at ease while also giving us a nice workout. I would highly recommend her!
Taylor's yoga session was a fantastic start to our trip. She was responsive, on time, prepared, and very professional. She even curated a playlist to our preferences beforehand. Upon arrival, she had everything we would need from mats, to blocks, towels and straps. She swept and set up our session on the cabin deck while we finished getting ready. We came outside to a transformed space, with great instruction, and a flow tailored to our needs. She finished up with an amazing sound bath creating a relaxed end to the session. She then cleaned everything up and was happy to answer questions before taking off. Would highly recommend Taylor for any trip to complement your stay away from home.
Taylor was amazing! Great experience for all my guests for our Girl's Weekend.
When to schedule bachelorette yoga during your Austin weekend
Here’s what I’ve seen work best:
- Saturday or Sunday morning is the classic. It’s a gentle, feel-good way to recover from Friday night and set the tone for the day.
- The first afternoon, right after everyone arrives, is a great icebreaker when half the group hasn’t met yet.
- The last morning is a sweet send-off before flights home, a chance to slow down and soak in the weekend together.
Wedding mornings, birthdays, girls’ trips, and retreat houses work beautifully too. Any small group that wants to celebrate together is my kind of group.

Austin bachelorette yoga FAQ
What's the maximum group size for bachelorette yoga?
My max is 12 guests per private bachelorette yoga class. That keeps the class personal, gives everyone room to move, and lets me bring enough mats and props for the whole group.
How far will you travel for a bachelorette party in Austin?
I travel within about 10 miles of downtown Austin, which covers the city center, East Austin, South Congress, Zilker, Hyde Park, and most of the popular bachelorette Airbnbs and rentals. If your rental is a bit farther out, send an inquiry and we can talk about it.
Where does the class happen?
I come to you! Classes happen at your Airbnb, vacation rental, or home. A backyard, pool deck, patio, or living room with the furniture pushed back all work great, as long as there's room for everyone to lie down on a mat.
Do we need to bring our own yoga mats?
Nope. I bring yoga mats, blocks, and other props, plus music. Your group just needs comfy clothes you can move in and a water bottle.
Nobody in our group has done yoga before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. My bachelorette classes are beginner-friendly and all-levels. I offer simple options for first-timers and up-level choices for anyone who practices regularly, so everyone can join in.
What if we went out the night before?
You're in good company. A slower, restorative class is a great way to shake off a big night out in Austin. Let me know the vibe and I'll plan the class around how your group is feeling.
What style of yoga do you teach for bachelorette groups?
Whatever fits your group: an energizing power or vinyasa flow, a slower hatha class, or a deeply relaxing yin or restorative class. An optional sound bath is available if you want to end on something extra dreamy.
Do you give hands-on adjustments?
No. I'm a trauma-informed teacher and I teach completely hands-off, guiding everything through clear verbal cues. Everyone's body and space stay their own.
How do I book bachelorette party yoga?
Book my private group yoga directly on Airbnb. If you have a custom request or aren't sure about your date or location, submit an inquiry through the Inquire page on my site and I'll follow up.
